Maharashtra: 5 killed as car collides with bus in Ahmednagar
Five occupants of a car had been killed when their car collided with a bus in Maharashtra’s Ahmednagar district in the wee hours of Monday, police mentioned. The accident befell round 2 am at Devgad Fata, about 60 km from right here, when the car heading in direction of Aurangabad collided head-on with the personal bus which was on solution to Ahmednagar, an official from Nevasa police station mentioned.
The car jumped the highway divider and hit the bus coming from the wrong way, one other official from Ahmednagar police management room mentioned.
Five car occupants, all residents of the state’s Jalna district, died in the accident, the police mentioned.
The our bodies had been despatched to Nevasa rural hospital for postmortem.
The deceased have been recognized as Shantanu Narayan Kakde (35), Kailas Newre (35), Vishnu Chavan (31), Ramesh Dashrath Ghuge (40) and car driver Narayan Warkad (23), the police mentioned.
